Lab4 Probiotics at the IPM Congress London 2025
19 June 2025
Lab4 Probiotics was showcased alongside its sister brand ProVen Biotics at the Integrative and Personalised Medicine (IPM) Congress in London from 19th-21st June.
Designed as a world-leading event promoting whole-person, patient-centred health, the IPM is a 3 day event that hosts 5 one-day conferences, three workshops running concurrently all day throughout the event and a large exhibition that showcases products and companies involved in this industry.
Our Lab4 baby and child research was presented by our Nutritionist, Adrienne Benjamin, and Research Manager, Dr Iveta Garaiova, who talked about the importance of the first 1,000 days of a baby's life as the most important window for the development of the microbiome. This period of life represents the only time when we are truly able to influence the diversity of the microbes in the gut and to help to build a robust and diverse community that supports us through life.
Dr Iveta and Adrienne then went on to talk about the impact of Lab4 Probiotics on reducing upper respiratory tract infection incidence, duration and symptoms in pre-school and school children and the effect this then has for reducing visits to the doctor, antibiotic prescriptions, and absenteeism from school.
