Cwm Taf Morgannwg UHB hosts an annual Research & Development Conference to showcase the range of high-quality, collaborative research carried out across the organisation. The event brings together delegates from the NHS, academia, Welsh Government and industry, providing a valuable platform for sharing new insights and outcomes. This year, on 26^th November, we were proud to support the event as one of the sponsors and to showcase our Lab4 research.

Our Research Manager, Dr Daniel John, presented new findings on the impact of probiotics on wellbeing among NHS staff. The study showed that supplementation with Lab4P Probiotics, combined with vitamins C, D and zinc, significantly improved the quality of life of healthcare workers over an eight-week winter period. Participants also reported significant reductions in bloating, stomach pain, constipation and muscle ache.
